That’s what a holiday at the Halslhütte mountain inn and restaurant is like, just downhill from South Tyrol’s Würzjoch mountain pass.

Whether you're a hiker, an e-biker, a mountain biker, a cyclist, a motorbike rider or just driving for pleasure, everyone will find their holiday dream place here with us. The Halslhütte is right by the pass road, just before you reach the Würzjoch. You can see the red and white flag blowing from far away. Then you know you’ve made it! Get off your bike, get out of the car and come for some fun at the Halsl. Delicious alpine specialities and indulgent treats are just waiting for you. And the next day? Get out of your soft, cosy bed and get exploring! The Peitlerkofel on the first day, Tullen on the second, and on every other day after that, simply get out in the wonderful natural surroundings of the Plose. Discover one of the loveliest natural landscapes there is, enjoy the South Tyrolean hospitality and take time for yourself for a couple of days to explore everything at your leisure – after all, there is always a bed free for you.

In summer we offer the chance to spend the night below majestic mountain summits under millions of stars. Choose between 5 simple natural wooden rooms, of which 3 are two-bed rooms and 2 double rooms, all with shared showers in the hallway – 2 showers for all of the rooms.

Cancellation

Cancellations are always uncomfortable – for both sides. Nevertheless, they can never be completely ruled out, as unexpected things can always happen in life. Italian law does not actually provide a right of withdrawal. However, we would like to accommodate you in this matter:

Up to 14 days before arrival: Free of charge.
Cancellation within 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
Cancellation within 3 days before arrival, no-show, late arrival, or early departure: 100% of the total amount will be charged.

The cancellation fees apply once the reservation is confirmed and are independent of the reason for cancellation. Unfavorable weather conditions do not entitle you to a free cancellation. All decisions regarding tour planning, route choice, and assessment of weather conditions are the sole responsibility of the guest. We recommend taking out travel insurance so that you are not left with the costs.
